Summary

I co-founded QwicPay with a friend from university to create a faster and more convenient checkout experience for South African online shoppers. QwicPay allows customers to create an account and use their saved information when checking out from participating online stores.

My Role

My role spanned product development, software delivery, merchant and partner engagement, operations, and commercial execution. These responsibilities were shared within the founding team, with each of us contributing to the development and growth of the company.

Within the founding team, I contributed across both technical and commercial work. This included helping shape the product, supporting its implementation, working with external stakeholders, and addressing the practical challenges involved in bringing the product into a highly regulated and interconnected industry.

What We Built
